Body recovered from river
Two weeks after he fell from his boat and slipped into the waters of the Apalachicola River, the body of 52-year-old Curtis Anders has been recovered.
Ray Womble, who was the last to see him alive just after Anders put his boat in at the Estiffanulga landing on March 9, says the body was recovered below Sumatra at Porter Lake this morning, Saturday, March 22.
“The family’s tore apart,” said Womble. “They’re happy they found him but now they know he’s dead.”
