BLOUNTSTOWN – Daisy Louise Medley, 85, of Blountstown, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014 in Tallahassee. She was born in Bonifay, Feb. 19, 1929 to the late J.D. and Lula Posey. She lived in Columbus, GA most of her life where she worked as a caregiver and lived in Blountstown for the past two years. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Blountstown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James and Samuel Russell.
Survivors include four sons, David Russell and his wife, Connie and Norman Russell, all of Esto, Daniel Russell and his wife, Marilyn of Blountstown and Joey Register and his wife, Jennifer of Fortson, GA; two daughters Francis Berry of Columbus, GA and Carolyn Fagan and her husband, Mark of Guyton, GA; one brother, Aaron Jackson Sellers of Bonifay; one sister, Dathene Sallas of Bonifay; 39 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.
Family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 10 from 5-8 p.m. (CT) at the funeral home.
Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m. (CT) at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Reverend Francis Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery near Clarksville.
