The West Gadsden Historical Society will celebrate its 11th annual Open House on Saturday, July 4 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. (ET) at the historic Dezell House, 328 E. 8th Street in Greensboro.
Various historical displays will be on exhibit. Our annual bake sale will be a delicious feature as well. This will be your chance to get some homemade baked goods while contributing to a worthy cause. At the same time, be sure to visit the Greensboro Depot Railroad Museum located at 115 Duffle Avenue. Many additional exhibits have been added during the past year.
We appreciate all the contributions and loans that we have received from our friends and neighbors. Our new outdoor kids games will be located at the Depot for the enjoyment of everyone. We look forward to the return of Coastal Seafood Restaurant of Panacea who will be offering scrumptious seafood lunches at the Dezell House from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (ET). We invite you to come and enjoy time visiting with your family, friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing you this year.
